This is one of just a few paintings where Snoopy is acting like a dog and actually being nice. Unfortunately it's in rough shape and paint is shedding from the velvet. I should take it to the art restoration gallery down the street just to give them a laugh.
I'd like to think the chipped paint and agonized expression on Snoopy's face added up to some larger artistic statement. Unfortunately, with Luis at the helm, we know this is simply not the case. In his defense, this is actually one of his better renderings of the beagle.
