This my collection of Snoopy Paintings on Black Velvet, which I started collected on accident in 2000, when I received this painting for my birthday, from my roommates Woody and Dr. Dan. I've liked Snoopy since a kid, and it had caught my eye in a store near out house.

As I started looking at velvet paintings online and through Ebay, I discovered that among the generic patinings of animals, cars and naked people, that the only three recognizable characters that consistently came up were Jesus, Elvis and Snoopy? Shocking, No? And since I'm not religious and like my rock and roll a little more modern, a collection was born.

These paintings are hanging in my home and the Prize Beagle Recording studio, and they aren't for sale. They are here because they're weird enough to deserve a little attention, and to prove that you can collect almost anything.

If you'd like to share these images, please send folks links to this site or copy them and host them from your site.

If you happen to have A Snoopy Painting on Black Velvet, and are interested in adding it to the collection, please email me at adam [at] prizebeagle [dot] com.
